[CES2008] Electrovaya의 SC4000 시리즈 타블렛 PC 이번 CES2008에 Electrovaya가 SC4000 시리즈를 들고 나왔다. 리튬이온 슈퍼폴리머 전지로 유명한 회사가 흔히 말한는 "변XX" 베터리성능을 가진 tablet PC의 최신버전을 공개했다. 스펙을 보면 놀라울 뿐이다... 인텔코어2듀오 ULV 프로세서, 지문인식, 1.3메가 카메라, 윈도우비스타, 내장블루투스, 802.11g까지지원되는 무선,60G~160G까지지원되는 하드, 1~4G의 메모리가 사양이 되겠다.... 이게 Tablet PC사양인가?? --; 옵션으로 야외에서도 액정화면을 잘 볼수 있도록 제공한다는데, 290달러정도의 추가 비용이 든다고 한다. 무게는 약 1.5kg에 2.16cm의 두께를 가진 놀라운 몬스터다.. 가격은 ... 나와있지않다. 스펙만 본다면, 만만치 않을 듯하다... 더보기

가상화, 임베디드 HW 시대 개막 소프트웨어적으로 구현되던 서버와 스토리지의 가상화 기술이 하드웨어에 직접 구현되면서 ‘임베디드 서버·스토리지 가상화 시대’가 열리고 있다. 가상화 기술이란 서버와 스토리지의 데이터 처리 공간을 가상으로 통합하거나 분할해 활용도를 높이는 것으로 데이터 처리 부하가 집중되면 순식간에 다른쪽 서버로 부하를 분산시키거나 집중화해 안정성을 높이는 개념이다. ◇선두업계 앞다퉈 임베디드 서버·스토리지 출시=가상화 기능을 탑재한 서버는 그간 유닉스급에서나 가능했으나 최근에는 x86서버에도 임베디드 바람이 불고 있다. 한국IBM은 지난해 말 가상화 솔루션을 플래시드라이브 형태로 탑재한 4웨이 x86서버 ‘x3850 M2’를 출시했으며 이달 8웨이 서버인 ‘x3950 M2’도 내놓을 계획이다. 한국HP는 가상화 솔루션 임.. 더보기
삼성·LPL, 8세대 LCD 장비 교차구매 무산 디스플레이 업계의 상생 전략으로 주목받았던 삼성전자·LG필립스LCD(LPL)의 장비 교차 구매가 결국 불발로 끝날 전망이다. 동일한 기술규격과 크기로 장비 교차 구매 효과를 극대화할 수 있다고 여겨졌던 8세대 라인 신증설 투자에 양사는 기존 협력사만 선정했기 때문이다. 삼성전자와 LPL은 지난 12월 중순 각각 8세대 2단계 라인 증설과 8세대 라인 신규 발주에 들어갔지만 기존 협력사들만 공급사로 선정한 것으로 9일 확인됐다. [CES2008] Xohm's CES 2008 booth tour Xohmigod, it's the Xohm booth at CES 2008!
