벨벳으로 디자인한 Bristlebot. 레이싱 달팽이로봇. A Velvet Bristlebot Racing Snail 이전에 삐삐(pager)의 모터를 이용한 bristlebot을 만드는 포스트를 소개한 적이 있는데, 이것도 evilmad 에서 튀어나온넘으로 bristlebot 2탄이다. 그다지 그전것과는 다른건 없고, 단지 벨벳으로 디자인을 이~~쁘게 만들었다. PSP/PS2에 블루투스를. 맥월드 부스 투어. Apple Macworld booth tour engaget에서 처음 올라온 포스트에서는 맥월드가 기대 이하로 사람이 적어서 한산하다고 하더만... 이걸 보니 그런거 같지는 않고,,... 잡스횽아가 나온다는데...뭐 ㅋ. 세상에서 가장 얇은 노트북. 애플의 맥북에어. Apple Mackbook Air is world's Thinnest notebook, Looks Absolutely amazing 얼마전 맥월드2008에서 잡스횽의 키노트가 기대이하라는 말들이 많았는데, 어찌보면 그만큼 큰 기대였다는 반증이 아니었나 싶다. 맥북에어를 들고 나왔는데, 이런 반응을 한걸 보면, 이때까지의 애플의 행보가 대단했다는 이야기였다는건 아닐까한다... 맥월드에 나타난 맥북에어는 (실시간 포스팅해주는 여러 블로그들 덕분에 가서 보는듯한 재미있는 일이 벌어졌다 ㅋㅋ) 정말... 할말을 잃었다. 서류봉투에서 튀어나오는 노트북이라니... 사실 그 기능이나 확장성등의 것들에 대해서 말들이 많기는 하지만, 애플 답다는 느낌을 지울수는 없었다. 역시 가격도 애플답다는... --; 누가 살지.... 는 모르겠지만서도, 재미있는 서류봉투였다. RFID 하드 인클로저. STYSEN E08 RFID Security 2.5" HDD enclosure STYSEN의 하드 인클로저가 나왔다. RFID를 이용한 하드 보안 솔루션~~ 시리얼 ATA 2.5인치 하드를 넣을수 있다. 여기서 소개된 바로는 이 모델은 외장하드로 USB2.0의 속도로 데이터를 입출력할수 있다. 처음 하드디스크를 PC에 연결할때 RFID키를 이용해서 연결을 해야 한다고 한다. 보안 측면에서는 꽤나 좋을듯. 음... 외장하드를 통째로 들고가버리면, 뭐... 할말이 없긴하지만,... 역시 2000부터 비스타, 맥까지 지원된다고 한다.(도스도 된다고 하니..호환성은 뭐 신경쓸일은 아닌듯.) OS X를 돌리기 위한 매킨토시 512K 업그레이드. Macintosh 512k Upgraded to run OS X - 24th Anniversary Macintosh Project | 이 포스트의 저자는 주위에 굴러다니는(??) 낡은(?) 맥에 OS X를 깔아보자~~ 라는 프로젝트를 벌였다. 처음에 이 포스트를 접하고나서, 가능한가?? 라는 생각이 강하게 들었다. 꼭 386에 윈Xp를 까는 듯한 느낌을 받아서... --; 많은 시간을 들일 필요없이 간단하게 가능하다고 하니 한번쯤 볼만한 포스트 일듯... 작성자가 말하는 이 매킨토시 512k는 맥미니와 흑백CRT모니터, 플로피디스크드라이브, USB디바이스등이 들어 가 있단다... 이 프로젝트의 대부분은 기존 미니에서 사용하던 키보드와 마우스를 사용할수 있는 회로를 쓴다고 한다. 위 리모컨 해킹하기1. IR펜으로 화이트보드처럼 사용하기 Wii 리모컨을 해킹(?)해서 일반 LCD 모니터에 터치패드 처럼 사용할수가 있다. 이미 외국에서 유명한 jonny Lee 의 한 프로젝터중 하나로, 소스와 동영상등이 제공되고 있는데, 호기심 발동. 제작했다. 기본적으로 Wii 리모컨은 블루투스를 지원하고, IR을 인식한다. 이 Hacks은 이 두가지를 기초로 만들어졌다. 먼저, 데스크탑에는 블루투스가 지원이 되질 않는 관계로 블루투스 동글이를 하나 구입. 그다음엔 주인공인 Wii 리모컨. 정발은 않되었지만, 많이 들어와있다... 이 이미지는 자작한 IR 펜이다. 일반 리모턴에서 IR led를 빼서, 건전지와 연결해서 만든 놈. 바디(?)는 모나미 볼펜이다. 그리고 클릭을 하도록 만든 버튼은 컴퓨터 전원 스위치에서 떼다가 달았다. 다음은 디카로 촬영한 .. 더보기

[CES2008] Xohm's CES 2008 booth tour Xohmigod, it's the Xohm booth at CES 2008!
